At the end of the weekly session of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo), Godoy Rangel questioned the seriousness of the electoral magistrates, because the notification, which would give legal validity to their resolution, was not presented on time, that is, it was an extemporaneous notification.

He reproached that the court act freely. They assume that, since there are no resources, we have to abide. But now they themselves got entangled, and tomorrow (Tuesday) this resolution will be sent to the plenary to resolve what proceeds.

The legislator considered that complying with the court ruling and electing the president of the INE only from among female candidates, it would entangle the process, because men, who have acquired rights, could also appeal this court decision and a legal skein would be made.

He clarified that it is not Morena’s intention that the process be delayed to the point that four directors cannot be appointed no later than March 30 and that the INE general council works with only seven members, and he hoped that the appointment could done by that deadline.

The Jucopo agreed that the examination of the applicants be carried out on Tuesday, March 7 in the session room, so the session will be held on Wednesday the 8th.
