First Sergeant Post Mortem Luis Garrido is fired with honors

With a ceremony held at the National Police headquarters, which was attended by the Vice President of the Republic, José Gabriel Carrizo, the Minister of Public Security, Juan Pino and the Director General, John Dornheim, he was given the “see you later ” to 1st Sgt. Post Mortem Luis Ernesto Garrido Tucris.

With 13 years, 6 months and 11 days of service, Sergeant Garrido Tucris becomes the second fallen in the line of duty in the year 2023.

At the ceremony, the authorities present, led by the Vice President of the Republic, José Gabriel Carrizo, offered their condolences and respect to his relatives.

A street of honor made up of his companions gave way to the coffin and gave him the honors he deserved.

In his memory, the 21 salvo shots were heard, which are dedicated to units killed in the line of duty.

Relatives, authorities, board members of the security forces, colleagues and guests, were present to say goodbye to 1st Sergeant. Post Mortem Luis Ernesto Garrido Tucris, who died on Thursday, February 23, in an accident that occurred under the bridge that leads to Amador.
