cromo

The price of gasoline will remain in March for the second consecutive monthas announced on Tuesday by the Executive Branch, even when the Import Parity Price marked a rise. Thus, Super 95 gasoline will continue at $71.89 per liter.

For his part, common diesel is reduced by $2, and its maximum price goes from $58.99 to $56.99 per liter from March 1.

Background

At the beginning of the year, the government decided a drop in gasoline and diesel that was in force throughout January. On that occasion, local prices were aligned with the international reference.

Last month prices had been frozen, even though international prices on the US Gulf Coast moved upwards. On that occasion, if the PPI rule had been followed, that product should have increased $2.65 (3.7%), and diesel should have risen $1.18 (2%). This cost was absorbed by Ancap, which began to obtain less profit for each liter sold.

supergas

On the other hand, the price of Supergas (LPG) continues at $73.35 per kilo. That way, the 13 kg bottle now has a cost to the public of $953.55 (without shipping).

And the 50% discount on the price of the carafe is maintained for the 130,000 households that receive any of the Mides benefits. In those cases, the subsidized bottle for assistance plans is $475.
