“We do not accept all the farce that the removal of President Pedro Castillo has meant because the freedom of the people of Peru was not respected, democracy was trampled on and a great injustice was committed by removing him and imprisoning him, and then by establishing a de facto government authoritarian and repressive”, he expressed this morning in his daily conference.

López Obrador, in this line, assured that he will continue to stand up for his friend Pedro Castillo, the former Peruvian president vacated after perpetrating the coup d’état on December 7, 2022.
“An oligarchy in Peru, national but above all foreign, is plundering Peru’s natural resources, gas, mining resources, and they need to have a puppet, a puppet, a ruler in their own right,” he asserted.
AMLO has refused to hand over the pro tempore presidency of the Pacific Alliance to Peru despite the fact that it corresponds to him by succession.
Last week, López referred to the Boluarte government as “spurious” and because of this, the latter decided to withdraw Ambassador Manuel Talavera from Mexico and maintain relations with the North American country on a commercial level.
