In Paraguay they have highlighted the prudence and respect with which the Vallenato group has handled this sad episode that shocked that country.
Colombia News.
The ‘Golden Binomial of America’, Colombian vallenato group, was one of the favorite groups of Cristina Aranda, a young model who died in the middle of a shootout recorded precisely in a presentation of the vallenateros in Paraguay on the night of January 30.
She was a big fan of the group led by accordion player Israel Romero, “Isra Chicken”, as it is known in Vallenato folklore, one of the emblems of this group through which great singers such as the late Rafael Orozco, Jorge Celedón, Jean Carlos Centeno and Alejandro Palacio have passed.
He knew his songs and sang them at the top of his lungs at every concert he could attend in Paraguay.
Here’s a video performing “You will miss me”, one of the most heartfelt themes of the Binomio.
Also in another video of the day of the events, the model can be seen singing next to her boyfriend Iván Torres, “How do I forget you”, flagship song of this group.

They sang “Pretty girl”, another of the good songs of this group. Below are the images:
The Binomio on his Instagram account sent a message of condolences to Vita’s family:
“We are very sorry for the events that occurred during our presentation at the Ja’umina Fest in the city of San Bernardino,” the Binomio says in a message on its Instagram account.

“Our deepest condolences to the family of @vitaaranda and in the same way we join the pain of all those affected by this unfortunate event that we categorically repudiate,” added the communications team of the group founded in 1975.
This gesture has been highlighted by users of social networks, who highlight the behavior and prudence that the members of this group have handled with all this unfortunate episode that shocked Paraguay:
What a great gesture on the part of Binomio de Oro to go and sing the music that Vita Aranda liked so much, it really shows that they are good people, not like those who use this moment of pain for a little more “fame” . pic.twitter.com/ZGyBfyM1As
