Through a search proceeding, the National Police in conjunction with the Public Ministry apprehended two people and seized alleged drugs, cash, technological equipment and elements used for the distribution of said illicit substance, in the Altos del Lirio sector in the corregimiento of Ernesto Cordoba Campos.
In this police action, several transparent plastic envelopes were seized that contained an alleged illicit substance, 4 cell phones, B/. 292.00 in cash, 1 cylindrical metal container (crusher) that kept dry grass inside.
After verification, it was found that one of those arrested had a weekly signature report by the Court of Guarantees of the First Judicial Circuit of the province of Panama, against Collective Security, Drug-Related Crimes.
Police operations to combat the sale of illicit substances that affect our young people so much will continue throughout the country.
