The Supreme Court of Santa Fe called a meeting to discuss the issue of insecurity

The president of the Supreme Court of Justice of Santa Fe, Daniel Erbetta, called a meeting in which the Minister of Security of Santa Fe, Claudio Brilloni, and officials of the agencies that investigate homicides participated.who drew up a list of “critical” issues to be resolved and a joint work plan was agreed upon, judicial sources reported.

The meeting was held last Friday at the Rosario Provincial Courts to initiate a work agenda between the authorities of the Public Prosecution Ministry (MPA) of the province and the agencies involved in the investigation of intentional homicides.

The intention is to put special focus on that city, which has been experiencing security difficulties for several years, The spokesmen for the Santa Fe Judicial Power told Télam.

They participated in the call, in addition to Erbeta and Brilloni; the Minister of the Court Roberto Falistocco; the Attorney General MPA, Jorge Baclini; the director of the Criminal Investigation Agency, Carlos Zoratti; the deputy director of the Investigation Agency, Victor Moloesnik; the Secretary of Management of the MPA, Belén Torossi; the director of Legal Processes of the OI, María Julia Tonero; the director of the South OI Laboratory, Aldana Tievas; the director of the Legal Medical Institute, Raúl Rodríguez and the prosecutor of the Intentional Homicide Unit, Gastón Avila.

“The purpose is to establish a mechanism for joint work and permanent dialogue to deal more effectively with the critical situation that the city is going through, as well as improve the expert work and the quality and results of the criminal investigation,” said a statement released this Saturday.

In the conclave it was decided “promote a space in which all the protagonists can raise their difficulties and propose improvements to optimize investigative taskstrying to articulate mechanisms for a coordinated work of the different agencies that intervene in the criminal investigation of intentional homicides taking the scene of the event as a starting point”.

The attendees drew up a first list of critical issues to be resolved, among which stand out: “the communication between the scene of the event and the Medical Legal Institute; the needs for inputs, equipment and personnel to cover the demand found by the different areas and agencies”.

At the same time, They pointed out the need for operator training, especially coordinators at the scene of the event and police doctors and the review of action protocols in order to establish an inter-institutional work guide.

In this line, “various problems related to what was considered the most relevant stage in terms of security that affects the city of Rosario, that is, the prevention and reduction of criminal acts; with special consideration of those linked to the police agency and the provincial and federal penitentiary system”.

The participants agreed to launch “joint work, especially in the management of these issues and the possibility of adding the municipal authorities in future meetings was also analyzed, of scientific or university entities, to representatives of the federal government in any of its spheres and representatives of other powers of the provincial State so that they add their cooperation”.
