They find a dead man in a high-voltage tower: it is presumed theft of cables

During the early hours of Friday, an alert was received about the presence of a deceased man in a high tension tower in Renca. Captain Luis Jara, from the Lo Velásquez Subcommission Station, explained that once the police personnel arrived at the scene, it was verified that it was a lifeless adult male on the power line.

According to the authorities, it is presumed that the person was removing cables from the high tension tower. Captain Jara indicated that “the only thing we have found are typical tools that individuals use to remove high-voltage cables.”
