The Government signed agreements for public works and infrastructure in Misiones

“From the national government we want to build an increasingly federal country, that takes into account the idiosyncrasies and the economic and cultural differences that exist in Argentina, and works to settle the historical asymmetries that exist between the regions. This great investment that we are making in Misiones is proof of this and a guarantee of the promotion of public works carried out by the Government to promote job creation and improve living conditions of the Argentine men and women”, assured Manzur after signing the agreements at Casa Rosada.

As officially reported, after the meeting, Governor Herrera Ahuad thanked the national officials for their management and highlighted: “Today very important agreements were signed for the province in different areas that make up the productive system and that, in addition, are a way to mitigate the consequences of the agricultural and igneous emergency that we are experiencing in Misiones”.

In addition, the provincial president explained that the agreements signed with Minister Katopodis are also fundamental because “Not only do they solve the urgent problems generated today by the water deficit in the province, but they are also works with a vision of 50 or 60 years”.

The project of “rural electrification of the southeast region de Misiones” will have an investment of more than 348 million pesos, and the expansion of connectivity in the department of 25 de Mayo, with an investment of 99 million pesos in non-reimbursable contributions to the province.

On the other hand, investment agreements were also signed to improve sustainable production systems and their adaptation to the climatic complexities that Misiones is experiencing.

The modernization of machinery and equipment for fire management used by the Rural Services Consortia will be projected at 735 million pesos, in terms of credits for the province.

The agreements add up to a total investment of 2,247 million pesos.

Regarding the signed agreements, Domínguez affirmed that “the political decision is that of protect and assist the producer for it to grow and continue to develop. Argentina is going to continue on this path, with more producers that can grow and project their work where they live”.

Meanwhile, the agreements that the province of Misiones signed with the Ministry of Public Works add up to a total investment of 2,247 million pesos.

The execution of the drinking water supply works will be in charge of the National Entity of Water Sanitation Works (ENOHSA) and will be carried out in the towns of Santo Pipó and Leandro N. Alem, which will benefit more than 25 thousand inhabitants .

After the signing of agreements, Katopodis pointed out: “This is the decision of the national government to have a federal look at all the execution of public works to reach Misiones and each province with more infrastructure, and thus achieve a more equitable country.”

The works in Santo Pipó, which will require an investment of more than 663 million pesos, will involve, among other things, the construction of a treatment plant and the updating of the distribution network, which will generate 30 direct jobs and reach 95 % of the urban population concentrated in the urban area of ​​Santo Pipó and Paraje El Pueblito.

For its part, the works in Leandro N. Alem have an investment of more than 1,580 million pesos and will involve the execution of a water intake on the Mártires Chico stream, a discharge pipe, the adaptation of the treatment facilities and the expansion of the distribution network.
