ANDhe Argentine ambassador to Brazil, Daniel Scioli, This Thursday he confirmed his presidential candidacy in the Primary, Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory (PASO) by the Frente de Todos and assured that “the country has a very positive future.”

“The ‘count on me’ is count on my experience to do what needs to be done“, he expressed in dialogue with the television channel C5N, referring to the letter he published this week in his social networks regarding their plans for this election year.

Scioli assured that he will be “a candidate, because I cannot be indifferent, I cannot face something if I am not convinced that I can do it well”.

Along these lines, he pointed out that “I am absolutely convinced that with my experience and with my development agenda, the country has a great destiny and a very positive future, because we have strategic sectors that the world demands and that must be developed“.

“That gas pipeline (Néstor Kirchner) is the great future of Argentina. Brazil allowed me to understand the modern agenda, artificial intelligence, the demand of the agri-food sector, the concerns of youth”, he indicated.

The ambassador assured: “What we have to look for now is to enter the virtuous circle of growth, of expanding economic activity, not restricting it,” referring to the prevailing discourse of the opposition that calls for eliminating the fiscal deficit.

In this sense, he questioned: “How can we not have hope and confidence in a country where all the strength and agreements have to be put in order for investments to arrive? We have to generate confidence for them to invest.”

In addition, he recalled that during the electoral debate in 2015, he warned that if Mauricio Macri won “the International Monetary Fund” would return and assured: “This time I do not want to be right, I want to have the opportunity to apply the other path towards the future of the country ” .
