Starting tomorrow, Friday, February 24, the maximum sales prices of liquid fuel will rise, according to the National Secretariat of Energy.

These new prices will apply until March 10.

The entity revealed that 95 and 91 octane gasoline will rise 1 cent per liter; low sulfur diesel will decrease its price per liter by 4 cents.

The maximum sales prices per liter for fuels per liter in the provinces of Panama and Colón will be as follows: 95 octane gasoline will cost B/.1,065; while 91 octane gasoline remains at B/. 1,001 and diesel will cost B/. 0.980.

Despite the increase in fuel prices, the Government has extended the subsidy to this item, leaving both 95 and 91 octane gasoline and diesel at a maximum price of B/.3.25 per gallon.
