The Health region in Veraguas reported that this Tuesday, the 21st, 56 inspections were carried out at street vendors and transitory stalls of sanitary interest, in which no major anomalies were reported, during the operation carried out at the different food outlets in this last day of Carnival.
Additionally, 27 tank cars were inspected, all of them complied with the provisions issued by the Health and Environment authorities and no anomalies were reported during these inspections.
Meanwhile, the regional Vector Control team toured all the points where mojadera or culecos were carried out; They visited the areas of Soná, Guarumal, Santiago, Río de Jesús and Montijo, breeding sites were eliminated to prevent the proliferation of mosquitoes and the increase in Dengue and Malaria cases in the region.
