Proficiency in English is increasingly necessary for professional development and international communication, thus linking with concepts of economic competitiveness and growth in the global economy. However, according to a national survey carried out by the Maple Bear network of schools, only four out of every 100 Peruvians have a fluent command of the language in the country. “Many times, the objective of teaching the English language is for the student to handle the grammar rules and not for them to develop different language skills.
