ELECTORAL ILLUSIONISM
Another act of simulation took place, once again, in the oil union. Early Tuesday morning it was announced that “The money magician”, better known as Ricardo Aldana, he was elected leader of the Pemex tent workers. The function had the setting of National Palace, because the main stage was even provided for the 25 applicants to present their proposals, since before the assembly it was already known that Aldana would be the winner. For those who know how union interests move, the result was as evident as the fact that, from 1993 to January 2022, Aldana was the union treasurer, that is, “the lord of the money”, is evident. The whole show of union renewal, unprecedented election, secret process through an app and supervision of the Ministry of Labor ended up in a circumference trick: going around to return to the same point where the same leaders ruled decades ago.
