Today at the national level is emollientero day, as established in Law No. 30198 that recognizes vendors of beverages made with medicinal plants as microenterprises that generate productive self-employment.

This drink is one of the most consumed in cold times by hundreds of Huancaínos, they offer a variety of natural and traditional drinks with various ingredients such as quinoa, maca and kiwicha.

According to the manager Joshelim Meza León, he reported that the event was attended by 25 breakfast and emollient vendors, who presented curative and refreshing products, as well as quinoa, cañihua, and kiwicha breakfasts, among other Andean products that have been inherited as tradition, in order to highlight the nutritional value of the drinks on display.
