The Executive sent cash to Puno, as well as 3.5 tons of water and 1.5 tons of medicines, in order to address the shortages that affect the region as a result of the protests and roadblocks.
President Dina Boluarte stated that what is sought is to ensure the attention, without restrictions, of the offices of the Banco de la Nación (BN) for approximately two weeks.
“Retirees, workers, beneficiaries of financial support from Juntos and Pensión 65 can come to collect money,” said the president, who participated in the shipment of remittances.

He also pointed out that this work is carried out with the support of the BN, the Armed Forces and the Police. An airlift was established with them in order to be able to transfer resources.
In the same way, he informed that the financial entity will attend on Sunday in Juliaca, San Román and Puno, in the Puno region; as well as in other cities of the country such as Huaraz, Moyobamba, Huánuco, Huancayo, Andahuaylas, among others.
On the other hand, he called for reflection on the people who continue to block the roads and pointed out that such acts generate additional costs to the State, money that could be used for other services.
