According to the regulations, “the governments and/or decentralized public entities to which the administration of the toll collection stations is entrusted, will charge the rates established by this Ministry that are indicated therein.”
Martínez explained that at the Los Médanos toll the internet service is deficient, causing delays and loss of time: “There is no ambulance or tow truck service either. There is no adequate maintenance of the road, except for some sporadic repairs in times of Carnival and Easter ”, he warned.
If they increase the price of the toll, services must be improved, Martínez pointed out.

In November 2022 The tariffs for categories of vehicles at the national level of the toll collection stations entered into force.
The purpose is to “procure quality goods and services and optimize the trafficability, mobility and safety of users”.
