Bolivia and Venezuela strengthen ties of brotherhood and cooperation

This Thursday the President of Bolivia, Luis Arce, held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Yvan Gil, at the Casa Grande del Pueblo, beginning a work agenda aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation through various agreements.

In the same text, the Bolivian head of state highlighted the brotherhood between the two peoples and his decision to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation.

The Venezuelan Minister for Foreign Affairs arrived in Bolivia this Thursday to fulfill an agenda aimed at strengthening the ties of brotherhood and bilateral cooperation between the two countries, said a Note from the Bolivian Foreign Ministry.

For his part, Gil described the meeting with President Arce as fruitful. He also pointed out that at the meeting they discussed the need to maintain a permanent work path to strengthen the bilateral relationship.

Gil also held a meeting with the Vice President of Bolivia, David Choquehuanca.

Bolivia-Venezuela Agenda

Likewise, the Venezuelan foreign minister began an agenda of meetings this Thursday with the Bolivian Foreign Minister, Rogelio Mayta, in which different issues on the bilateral agenda will be addressed.

“There are many projects in the pipeline and I think the close relationship between our presidents, who have an important relationship of trust and friendship, as our peoples are friends and brothers, has been very important,” Mayta said, quoted in a note from the Bolivian Foreign Ministry.

“The president (Nicolás Maduro) has been very clear in wanting to turn this extraordinary political relationship of cooperation between Bolivia and Venezuela into a constructive relationship of projects and initiatives of agreement,” said the Venezuelan minister.

The Foreign Minister announced that at the moment there are 14 draft agreements that are in the process of analysis, which are the result of more than 50 meetings and previous conferences that were held between the representations of both States.

“In the following hours, surely we are going to work and specify some aspects, but we outline that in the month of April there will be the third Bolivia-Venezuela Joint Integration Commission, the second Meeting of the Mechanism for Consultation and Political Coordination and the third Meeting of the Mechanism for Consular and Immigration Consultations”, said Foreign Minister Mayta.
