The Cicpc reported the capture of the model Ana Victoria Meneses Olivo (30), who is requested for the crime of human trafficking.
For this fact, Jenni Lorena Rosales de Sousa was already captured in March 2021, director of the Sambil Modela contest that was allegedly used to traffic women for prostitution purposes.
In this case, Ana Victoria was captured by agents of the Cicpc Criminal Organizations Search and Capture Division in response to an alert notification that she is dealing with the International Police (Interpol).
The woman was detained in the Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Baruta parish, Baruta municipality, Miranda state. She submits an application to the 1st Hearing Control and Measures Court of Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state.
The history
This investigation began in March 2021 on the occasion of the birthday of Fabio González (El Negro), head of a Structured Organized Crime Group that operates in the mining areas of Bolívar.
In this sense, Antonio José Parada Montilla, Fabio Enrique González Isaza and Héctor David Guanare were in charge of recruiting seven girls to take them to the subject’s birthday.
The contracted women traveled to Bolívar on March 18 on flight YV3106 that left the Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base located in La Carlota, Chacao municipality (Miranda).
Upon arriving in Bolívar, they were escorted in two taxis that would take them to the town of El Dorado, where the birthday boy was waiting for them. But the trip was interrupted at the Palo Grande checkpoint where officials of the Bolivarian National Guard detained the vehicles.
As a result of this procedure, they arrested Parada Montilla, accused of paying for air travel and other expenses, according to investigations.
In July 2021, the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice ordered the file of that case opened in Puerto Ordaz to be transferred to Caracas, where it was filed at the request of the Public Ministry.
The Prosecutor’s Office alleged that the detainees used “their position of power and economic means” to “manipulate information pertinent to the investigation” by presenting it on social networks in a distorted manner.
In the same way, the Public Ministry warned that Jenni Rosales, who served as director of the modeling agency, threatened to “persuade the institutions to free themselves from the criminal responsibility that weighs against them.”
They also reported that the criminal groups of Bolívar associated with Negro Fabio have provoked acts of violence near the Public Ministry building in the entity and the courts.
