Dr. Idia Harris, National Coordinator of Emergency Services of the Social Security Fund, explained on Radio Panama how medical services are prepared by decreeing the green alert as prevention for care in emergency rooms.
“We have ambulances deployed along the routes where there are the greatest number of people in conjunction with other entities and in this way try to ensure that there are always emergency vehicles available near the points of greatest influx of people,” Harris said.
The green alert will start from Friday, February 17 at 12 noon and will last until 7 in the morning on Wednesday, February 22.
