The National Planning Department (DNP) reported a new progress report on the 2018-2022 National Development Plan, which records 70% compliance. According to the entity, only between November and December the progress of the plan increased by 6.37 percentage points.

In the compliance update, National Planning highlighted that ten sectors of the Government are above 75% progress of the goals contemplated in the Development Plan. Among the sectors with the highest percentages are Intelligence (94.4%), Public Function (89.29%), Foreign Relations (86.8%) and Information Technology (84.58%).
“For the Government of President Iván Duque, it is very important to leave Colombians with the National Development Plan with the highest compliance indicator because that reflects the commitment and teamwork to execute public policies throughout the four-year period. The foregoing has allowed us to meet our objectives of having a country with greater equity, entrepreneurship and legality, which are the pillars of this Pact for Colombia.“, indicated the director of the National Planning Department, Alejandra Botero Barco.

The DNP also highlighted that some indicators are at high levels of compliance, for example, in the case of the Presidency of the Republic sector, where the education intervention indicator for the risk of mine-affected areas has a compliance of 100 %, followed by the advance in the completion of the process of reintegration of people which has 85% compliance, reaching 26,766 and having a goal of 27,222 for the four-year period.
