With police accompaniment, murdered journalist is fired

The Amambay Police accompanied this afternoon the transfer of the remains of the radio journalist murdered on Tuesday, February 14.

The wake of the communicator Alexander Álvarez ended this afternoon, after which he was transferred in a fire truck to the San Carlos cemetery, accompanied by a police patrol in the area.

The young man was shot to death on Tuesday, February 14, in the middle of the street in the Obrero neighborhood of Pedro Juan, while waiting for the green traffic light, in a recently purchased Toyota IST car.

At his side was his brother, Walter, who said that he heard three shots and then saw Alex fade away, although he was still conscious.

The radio communicator was still transferred with vital signs to the Regional Hospital of Pedro Juan Caballero, where unfortunately his death was confirmed.
