Lieutenant Post Mortem, Jean Carlos Valdés, who died in the line of duty, is fired

With the presence of the Vice President of the Republic, José Gabriel Carrizo Jaén and the General Director of the National Police, John Dornheim, Postmortem Lieutenant Jean Carlos Valdés Gobea was fired at the funeral ceremony that took place at the Headquarters of the National Police in Ancón, Thursday morning, February 16.

The Vice President of the Nation, José Gabriel Carrizo, expressed his condolences to his relatives for the irreparable loss, expressing his support.

“Today it is with deep regret that we bid farewell to this young officer who valiantly upheld his oath to Protect and Serve until the last moment,” said Director General John Dornheim.

In some heartfelt words, Director General Dornheim expressed his support to the relatives of Lieutenant Valdés at this difficult moment. “The doors of the institution will always be open to you,” he said.

His companions made a street of honor at the passage of the coffin, paying him the honors he deserved.

Before the end of the ceremony, the salute of honor shots were heard, dedicated to the units fallen in the line of duty.

Lieutenant Post Morten, was a graduate of the XXI promotion of the School of Police Officers (ESOPOL), and died on Friday, February 10, during an event that occurred in the La Joya Penitentiary Center.
