The Cicpc reported the capture of José Gregorio Moreno Santana (68), accused of committing the murder against his 88-year-old sister Constanza Soledo Moreno.
The crime occurred on September 22, 2022 inside the woman’s home located on San Martin Avenue, San Juan parish, Bolivarian Libertador municipality, Caracas, the scientific police refer to on their Instagram site.
Investigations revealed that José Gregorio constantly assaulted his sister Constanza when he was drunk; until the day of the event, the blows were such that they caused his death there inside the house.
The alleged murderer was arrested in the vicinity of the site where the event occurred.
Another subject investigated for the crime of femicide was arrested on 2 Monte Cristo Avenue, Leoncio Martínez parish, Sucre municipality, Miranda state. The detainee is Filadelfio Mora Mora (72), who allegedly murdered a 17-year-old teenager on October 25, 2015, according to court records.
After that fact, the subject was captured and charged with aggravated femicide on October 27, 2015 before the 27th Control Court of the Caracas Metropolitan Area.
Then it appears as requested by the 1st Court of Control with Jurisdiction in matters of crimes of violence against Women of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of Caracas, the Cicpc indicated in the report.
In another procedure, the Cicpc recaptured Luis Gabriel Díaz Vera (29), who escaped in May 2016 from a police headquarters located in Guarenas (Miranda). The recapture of Díaz Vera occurred in the Las Brisas de Guasarapa sector of the aforementioned city of Miran Dina.
Once detained, the agents verified before the Police Investigation and Information System (Siipol) and this revealed that Díaz Vera is requested by the 1st Trial Court of Miranda state, Barlovento extension, for the crime of qualified homicide.
