Two public transport units and a private vehicle collided on the descent of Tazón, leaving 21 people injured, according to initial reports from Risk Management agencies.
The vehicles involved in the accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon are: a bus belonging to the Ocumare-Caracas Civil Association; another from the Amigos de Cua Union Line Civil Association and a blue Twingo.
One of the public transport units overturned on the entrance road to Caracas. Personnel from the Ministry of Transportation went to the site to help the injured who were transferred to health centers.
Officials from the Road Service of the Bolivarian National Police also went to the site to channel vehicle traffic while the contingency was being attended to.
