(EFE).- The Algerian Minister of Health, Abdelhak Saihi, co-chaired in Havana, with the Minister of Foreign Trade, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, the work of the intergovernmental commission on economic, commercial, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, the Cuban authorities announced on Tuesday.
In a press release, the source specified that in his inaugural speech, the Cuban minister expressed the hope of seeing this session crowned with success by both parties welcoming the support provided by Algeria to his country.
Saihi, who traveled at the head of an important delegation, stressed that this meeting constitutes “a new milestone and an opportunity to promote the process of bilateral cooperation and anchor the tradition of coordination and consultation, particularly in areas of common interest between the two friendly countries”.
