The World Voyager cruise ship will arrive on its second voyage to Cienfuegos Bay on February 7, during the high season for tourism in Cuba.
Yuneidy Pérez López, a specialist from the delegation of the Ministry of Tourism in Cienfuegos, told the press that on this occasion the luxury ship will bring 114 visitors who will stay for 24 hours in this city, whose center was declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2005.
Under the auspices of the Havanatur Agency, cruise tourists will be able to make excursions on the first day within the city of Cienfuegos and on a second day they will visit nearby places of interest such as Trinidad and Girón.
Of German nationality, the World Voyager is a well-known cruise ship from the Nicko Cruises company and works for a company specializing in river cruises that also offers maritime routes.
This vessel is part of a fleet of twin constructions, some planned for the next few years, with a maximum capacity of 200 passengers and all the characteristics of an expedition ship.
The cruise season was opened on December 27 by this very ship, which had touched the coves of Santiago de Cuba and Havana, as well as other Caribbean enclaves such as Guadalupe, Santa Lucía, Granada and Curacao.
