Likewise, he announced the approval of resources for the repair and reconstruction of more than 3,300 public spaces including squares, playgrounds, boulevards, murals, and historic centers, in coordination with governorships and mayors of the country’s 335 municipalities.
Nicolás Maduro said this Monday, February 13, that at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) they will continue with the recovery work of the auditoriums, swimming pool complex and more than 100 works of art that are part of the World Heritage Site; with which they would reach 79% of the works carried out. He demanded that the Venezuela Bella Mission “take over the spaces of the UC (Universidad de Carabobo) and UDO (Universidad de Oriente)” to begin recovery work like those of the UCV.
The statements were offered by the president during the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the Venezuela Bella Mission from the spaces of the Botanical Garden.
They assured that the Presidential Commission For the recovery of the UCV, it has intervened: 586 classrooms, 188 laboratories, 47 teaching buildings and 95 hectares of green areas.
In this regard, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on the recovery of the UCV sports facilities. «All the sports spaces are already recovered, the tennis courts, field tennis and soccer. In barely a year and a half we already have 63 works. This year we hope to reach 79% progress. We hope that the projects will be completed before three years and we can tell you ‘Mission accomplished’”.
During the broadcast, the mayoress of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported on the recovery of the El Pinar Zoological Park. She said that although they continue to work on a second phase of recovery of the space, it will be open to the public from February 14.

He highlighted that with the “My Well-Equipped Church Plan”, the national government to date has recovered 750 Catholic churches and 1,200 Evangelicals. He assured that by the year 2023 his administration plans to recover a total of 1,750 temples.
