The senator of the Broad Front, Alejandro Sánchez, recently referred to the internal situation of his party and indicated that everything is going well. According to the legislator, the necessary self-criticism has been carried out and the candidacies are being strengthened.
The Broad Front, explained Sánchez, is in a process of listening to society and is close to the people, working throughout the country. The senator stressed that this year the spaces that will support the candidates are being evaluated, which, according to him, are “several and very good.” Sánchez made special mention of the mayor of Canelones, Yamandú Orsi, whom he considered a great contribution to the Broad Front and to the country.
“Delgado has to worry more about the internal government”
The senator also responded to the Secretary of the Presidency, Álvaro Delgado, who had affirmed that the Broad Front had internal problems and that the absence of Tabaré Vázquez and Danilo Astori had exposed the lack of agreement in the presidency of the Congress of Mayors.
