The National Customs Authority, through the Directorate of Prevention and Customs Inspection (DPFA) of the Northern Zone, carried out several operations where they detained a truck carrying a shipment of car radiators without the documentation required for their purchase.

Customs indicated that during this operation two nationals were surprised between 12th and 13th streets with Amador Guerrero avenue, in the city of Colón. The case has been referred to the corresponding authorities to carry out routine transmissions.

In another operation, carried out in the Western Zone, a verification was carried out at the Guabalá Control Post, resulting in the retention of various merchandise of various brands, which are presumed to be counterfeit, which were transported in a truck.

The first reports show that the merchandise was purchased in Nicaragua to be resold in large quantities in Panama. This case is in the Intellectual Property department for the relevant procedures.
