MADRID, Spain.- Popular Cuban musicians Descemer Bueno and Randy Malcolm (Gente de Zona) premieren recently the theme “Chocolate with strawberry”, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
“‘Chocolate with strawberry’ is our gift to you for Valentine’s Day. I hope you enjoy this union with Randy Malcom a lot and this song, with which many will surely feel identified,” Descemer said in comments to the video of the song, which is available on YouTube.
“That’s how happy we are for the premiere,” the artist wrote in instagramalong with a photograph in which he appears with Malcom.

“Chocolate with strawberry” is part of the album Mercedez’s sonwith which the author of hits such as “Tus luces sobre mí” and “Arenas de soledad” pay homage to his mother.
“Come back, pretty little girl, you like chocolate with strawberry little princess, let’s stop the headaches because the punishment has been too much and the pride has been too much. You have been through so much with me that my heart is yours, yours, yours”, says the chorus of the song.
Descemer Bueno and Randy Malcolm worked together on the song “Patria y Vida”, which became the anthem of the Cubans and winner of the awards for Best Song of the Year and Best Urban Song at the 2021 Latin Grammys.
Years before, Malcolm had collaborated with Descemer on the worldwide hit “Bailando”, performed by Gente de Zona and Enrique Iglesias.
Last October the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame awarded the Medal of Freedom, an award created by the Miami Beach-based entity, to Descemer Bueno, Randy Malcom and the rest of the performers of “ Homeland and Life”.
