Public Health registers 204 active cases of Covid

Salud Pública registra 204 casos activos de Covid

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public Health reported this Saturday 19 new cases of Covid-19 and zero deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to bulletin number 1059, issued by the National Epidemiology Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health, the total number of deaths is 4,384 while the accumulated cases amount to 660,468.

According to the aforementioned report, 204 cases remain active while 655,880 have recovered from the virus and 3,144,910 have been ruled out by laboratory tests.

In the last 24 hours, 922 tests have been carried out, of which 23 are PCR and 899 are antigenic for a total of 3,805,378 samples processed.

Daily positivity stands at 2.97% and in the last four weeks at 1.72%.

The fatality rate is 0.66% and the mortality per million inhabitants stands at 419. 58.

The Hospital Network has 2,373 COVID beds of which none are occupied, for 0.0 percent, as in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds, of 585 available, none are occupied for 0.0%.

While, of a total of 469 system fans, none are connected so far, which represents 0.0%.
