Agentes dispersan reclamo de entrega del 30% de AFP

Deputy Pedro Botello moved yesterday afternoon to Juan Pablo Duarte Bridgein the National District, to lead a demonstration handing out flyers containing information so that workers in the formal sector claim the delivery of 30% of their contributions to the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP).

The group of citizens that demanded the reform of the law believes that the Dominican Social Security System (SDSS), 87-01, was diverted by the police who dispersed it with tear gas, accusing them of making disorders.

Those who walked with yellow shirts and flags, the color of the struggle they carry, were asked to circulate under the bridge Since three years ago.

Botello, representative of the La Romana province and spokesman in the Chamber of Deputies of the Social Christian Reform Party (PRCS), reacted by rejecting the action.

“We condemn the abuses of which we were victims today (yesterday) at the Juan Pablo Duarte Bridge, on the occasion of the banner to warm up the workers, with a view to the demonstration on February 27 in the National Congress,” he said.
