The leader of the Movement for Socialism (MAS), Reynado Ezequiel, will spend this Friday night in cells of the Departmental Traffic Directorate and on Saturday will be brought before a judge for causing a triple collision while intoxicated.
The director of Transit, Carlos Porcel, indicated that the leader of the MAS did not have a driver’s license and his Toyota wagon, Runner model, with license plate 1465-FLE did not have SOAT and neither did the vehicle technical inspection.
Porcel said that, according to the police intervention report, Reynado Ezequiel he was on alcoholic breath and that he refused to take the breathalyzer test. “According to the traffic regulations, whoever does not take the test is because they are drunk,” she pointed out.
The police chief indicated that the leader of the MAS collided with a vehicle in the fourth ring of the Urubó and then fled toward Bush Avenue. In the meantime, he collided with two other motorized vehicles until he parked due to the pressure of the drivers who followed him.

For his part, the director of the General Personal Identification Service (Segip), Alpacino Mojica, confirmed suspension, for a period of one year calendar, of the driver’s license of the leader of the ruling party.

The Prosecutor’s Office presented this Friday the accusation against Reynaldo Ezequiel and accuses him of dangerous driving and a traffic accident, so the judge is expected to set the time for his precautionary hearing, which will take place tomorrow.
His lawyer, Carlos Narváez, said the leader of the MAS “He did not go out with the intention of causing accidents” and that it is already covering the damage it caused to the other vehicles involved. He added that he will ask for his release at the precautionary hearing.
