This Friday, the Special Force to Combat Violence (Felcv) officially initiated an investigation against Carlos A.one of Misael Nallar’s lawyers, for the alleged crime of family violence, after a video came to light in which he was observed assaulting his partner.
“I have sent the police personnel to the place of the events and at this moment they are carrying out field work in the condominium. First we will try to make contact with the victim because he has to tell his truth and according to that we are going to prosecute the case”, informed Carlos Oporto, departmental director of the Felcv of Santa Cruz, in contact with EL DEBER.
Porto confirmed that this ex officio investigation was opened after the security camera footage of a private condominium, located in the fourth ring of the city, in which the lawyer can be seen reprimanding the victim and forcibly taking her to his apartment.
“We are verifying the facts and according to what is going to be obtained, we are going to start the case ex officio, if the victim does not report. preliminary we are facing an act of family violencear because there are videos from the security cameras,” he explained.
In addition, the police chief added that witness statements will be taken and condominium workers to verify if Nallar’s lawyer (the latter accused of triple crime in Porongo) was carrying a firearm on Thursday night, when the event was recorded.
“We are going to make contact with security guards, with the personnel who manage the cameras and the neighbors (…) If in case you had a firearm, That can be an aggravating circumstance or another process can be opened for illegal possession, but we are still doing field work and we have already opened the case in the first instance for family violence,” he pointed out.
For their part, the co-owners of the condominium where the attack took place wrote a letter to ask the lawyer to vacate your apartment, They want to prevent another similar event from happening. A local source confirmed to EL DEBER that the lawyer received the letter and agreed to leave the condominium in 30 days.
Carlos A. is one of the lawyers for Misael Nallar, who is main accused of the murder of three uniformed men: Sergeant Major Eustaquio Olano, 2nd Sergeant Alfonso Chávez and Gacip volunteer Daniel Candia Orihuela, who were executed on June 21, 2022 in the Los Cuchis community in the municipality of Porongo.
