Five candidates are running for the second vice presidency of Congress

Through various statements, the political parties Somos Perú, Perú Bicentenario, Acción Popular, Cambio Democrático – Juntos por el Perú and the Bloque Magisterial de Concertación Nacional nominated congressmen Alfredo Azurín Loayza, José Balcázar, Silvia Monteza, Isabel Cortez Aguirre and Elizabeth Medina Hermosilla, respectively; for the position of the second vice-presidency of Congress, which was released after the resignation of Digna Calle.
