“This equipment allows us to control 100 percent of the merchandise at the airport, This is how we identify if they are electrical appliances, metals, weapons or other accessories”, explained the administrator, when indicating that each passenger must fill out Form 250 (Affidavit of Accompanied Baggage and Entry and Exit of Foreign Currency) to legalize their belongings, otherwise they are observed and classified as “undeclared”.

Of all this observed merchandise, a ton falls under abandoned electronic equipment and the remaining three are miscellaneous items that did not have supporting documentation for legal entry into the national territory.
