Harold Araúz worked six complete innings and only allowed one run, five hits, struck out three and did not walk.
For Panama the best hitters were Jhonny Santos who went 2-2 with three RBIs, one run scored and three walks, while Michael Wielansky went 3-5 with a double and one run scored.
The Federales finished in sixth place in the standings after the regular round ended, above Curaçao and Cuba.
The semifinals of the Caribbean Series will be between Mexico (1) against the Dominican Republic (4) and Venezuela (2) that faces Colombia (3)
