Court maintained deprivation of liberty against six union leaders and activists

The 2nd Court with jurisdiction over terrorism declared the measures of six political prisoners detained in July 2022 inadmissible. The lawyer Eduardo Torres informed the judge of the 2nd Trial Court of First Instance with competence in terrorism, declared on the night of Wednesday, February 8, “inadmissible” to the request for review of measures of the six trade unionists and defenders of Human Rights who have been detained for political reasons since July 2021.

Torres, who defends the cause of Emilio Negrín, maintained his rejection of the prosecution’s accusation against his client and the other five political prisoners for the alleged commission of the crimes of association to commit a crime, conspiracy and terrorism, he said firewood effect.
