His summons comes one day after the statements by Jorge Díaz, Nicolás Martínez and Marcelo Abdala, all involved in some of the chats that were discovered by the ex-custodian

The ex-custodian of the president Luis Lacalle Pou, Alexander Astesianowill return to testify before the prosecutor Gabriela Fossati this Thursday, in the case that investigates different irregular acts that the official would have committed in his work and that were discovered in his WhatsApp conversations with different government authorities and police officers.
The investigation into the custodian, arrested in September 2022 for being part of an organization that forged documents of Russian citizens to access Uruguayan documentation, had an active day this Wednesday: the former Court prosecutor, Jorge DiazLacalle’s personal secretary, Nicholas Martinez, and the president of the PIT-CNT, Marcelo Abdala.
Diaz was cited for appearing in a conversation between Astesiano and the now former executive director of the Police, Jorge Berriel in which they accuse him of various crimes in his work in the Feldman casein which the former court prosecutor acted as judge.
This Wednesday it was also announced that Berriel will be charged for the case next Friday, one day after the Ministry of the Interior ordered the removal of him and the national director of the Police from their position, Diego Fernandez, also investigated in the case.
The statement on the Feldman case is one of the investigations that falls on Astesiano. There is also the conversation with Nicholas Martinez in which the custodian states that followed Marcelo Abdala with the video surveillance cameras of the Ministry of the Interior the day he had a drunken traffic accident, and assured that you had to “kill” him.
The request to the former head of custody of Lacalle de wiretapping the phones of a group of teachers and students from Liceo 41 by a policeman concerned about the left-wing activity of some members of that center is also included in the investigation.
The police official who sent the contacts to Astesiano, Marcelo Francowas identified and questioned by policewho sent his statement to Fossati.
