The cases of dengue in the department of Santa Cruz continue to increase and the Government has described the situation as “alarming.” With 3,173 confirmed cases and four more deaths with suspicion of dengue in the last daysthe authorities ask the population for collaboration to keep their homes clean.
“To date we have 3,173 positive cases of dengue, there is an average of 84 patients per day. AND“The number of positive cases of dengue that are being confirmed daily through the Headquarters report is alarming,” said Edil Toledo, Secretary of Health and Human Development.
Until last week, 11 deaths had been registered. In recent days, four more deaths with suspicion of the disease have been reported. With these last cases, the figure rises to 15.
