The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice declared the extradition request made by Venezuela to the Kingdom of Spain admissible so that they send Moisés Ricardo Bocanegra Lancini, who has a trial pending in the country for rape and robbery.
Such decision is contained in judgment 001, written by Judge Carmen Marisela Castro.
In that sentence it is indicated that Bocanegra Lancini was apprehended on April 8, 2009, the day he robbed YACC of her vehicle and sexually abused her.
That day, the subject waited for the woman in the La Boyera urbanization, El Hatillo (Miranda), let her park the vehicle and subdued her with a firearm, forcing her to get into the back seat. From La Boyera, the man drove her to Bosques de La Lagunita where he abused her, gave her 30 bolivars that were in her purse so that she could call a taxi while he fled.
But when Bocanegra Lancini was on the run, a police commission cut him off, a situation that made him go back until he collided with another vehicle, a moment that the uniformed officers took advantage of to stop him.
This subject was accused of rape and aggravated robbery before the 44th Court of Control of Caracas; On June 3 of that year, the 67th Prosecutor’s Office of Caracas requested to prosecute him; On the 18th of that same month, the victim presented a private accusation and three days later the subject’s lawyer, Joel García, stated his opposition to the criminal proceeding whose approach was rejected on June 30 when the Court ordered him to be prosecuted.
The opening of the trial was scheduled for September 2, 2013, but the man did not appear, for which an arrest warrant was issued, which was completed two years later, that is, in December 2015 when he was presented for the start of the trial. judgment.
But then he fled the country and was not heard from again until May 2021 when Spain informed Venezuela that Bocanegra is being investigated there for sexual assault committed in Toledo.
