After the announced regional strike on February 7 and 8, a group of protesters took to the streets in the city of Huancavelica.
The bulk of the people who went out to the march were made up of state workers, from regional directorates such as education, the Huancavelica Health network, transportation and communications, health, as well as the SUTEP education union and local residents. of Pachacclla.
The march was carried out through various arteries of the city, in the same one that held sit-ins at the doors of the Regional Government and Provincial Municipality of Huancavelica.
This ended in the atrium of the Cathedral, where they improvised a rally with different speakers, the same ones who demanded the closure of Congress and the resignation of President Dina Boluarte.

In an interview with Correo, the president of the Fight Committee, Jose Luis Crispín Calderón, affirmed that the march is in rejection of the decision of Congress to file all requests for the advancement of elections.
“The objective of the march in Huancavelica is to request the resignation of Mrs. Dina Boluarte in view of the fact that Congress has archived all the legislative initiatives for an early election, so the only path left is the resignation of Mrs. Dina Boluarte. and the way can be opened for Congress to set elections”, affirmed Crispín Calderón.
He added: “Tomorrow there will be a respective march and a rally in the Plaza de Armas. The mobilizations that we are accustomed to in the city of Huancavelica are totally peaceful, there is not a problem, so far, everything has been calm, we all express what we must express”.
