“We cannot speculate either one thing or the other and we have to hope that it is the couple who is missing through a kidnapping in the municipality of La Guáyiga,” explained Edward López Ulloa, chief prosecutor of Santo Domingo Oeste, referring to that the bodies were taken to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) to confirm their identities.
When asked if anyone was allowed to identify the bodies in order to find out if they were the kidnapped, López Ulloa said that this was not done due to the state of decomposition.
“They were in a septic. You will already know that after 14 days, if it is the couple that we presume it to be, they are decomposing. Therefore, it is up to Forensic Pathology to take the stage of identifying the bodies, ”he described.
Although he did not want to refer to how they were able to determine that in front of the Narciso González Elementary School, in a well sealed with cement were those bodies, the National Police had reported that they had identified the alleged perpetrators of the disappearance of the couple, as well as the Gray Hyundai Tucson SUV that would have been used to materialize the fact.
