Cistern truck overturned when it was going to control a forest fire in Angol

A cistern truck overturned when it was heading to Angol, in the La Araucanía region, to support a fire emergency in the Butaco sector.

Firefighters had been fighting a structural fire in Butaco since morning hours. However, the incident was reactivated, which is why the municipality of Angol sent a cistern truck.

The cargo vehicle was in transit to its destination when it overturned.

Only one person with injuries was registered, who was sent to the Angol Hospital to receive medical attention.

Until now the cause of the accident is not known.
