Steven, a student who assaulted another at the university campus in SFM, surrenders

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.– The young Steven Alberto, aggressor of the student Edgar Taveras inside a university campus in this city, whose video went viral on social networks, is already in the hands of the authorities of the Public Ministry.

Alberto appeared before the court in the company of his lawyer Luis Miguel Mercedes and his mother.

The defendant refused to speak when he was transferred to the prosecutor’s office, where he was received by magistrate Smaylin Rodriguez, Duarte’s chief prosecutor.
