With the signing of the 35-year limit conflicts between Chanchamayo, Jauja and Tarma would come to an end

The border conflicts that the provinces of Jauja, Tarma and Chanchamayo had been sustaining, through their border districts, came to an end yesterday after the signing of the trifinio agreement minutes that define the limits of each jurisdiction.

The regional deputy governor Clever Mercado, the mayors of Chanchamayo, Jauja, Tarma; from the districts of Vitoc, Monobamba, Palca, Acobamba, Tapo (Tarma), and Marcapomacocha and Santa Rosa de Carhuacayán (Yauli-La Oroya), signed these documents.

The mayor of Acombaba (Tarma), José Aguilar Bernardillo, who was part of the reception of the minutes, was very happy with the mayors for the teamwork that allowed this result.

“We recognize the technical assistance of the regional government, in consensus we have managed to delimit the trifinio in the Juñic sector, which 35 years ago left insurmountable social conflicts. With this agreement, we will give way to the development of roads between Tapo, Palca and Acobamba and take out our agricultural products”, he commented.
