The general manager of the newspaper El Diario, Jorge Carrasco Guzmán, was elected president of the National Press Association (ANP), entity that represents the main newspapers in Bolivia.

In an assembly, the general manager of the Oruro newspaper, La Patria, Marcelo Miralles, was also elected as the first vice presidency. and in the second vice-presidency to the logistics manager of the Valluno newspaper Los Tiempos, Bernardo Canelas Mendez.

The treasury will be exercised by the director of the Opinion newspaper of the city of Cochabamba, Leslie Lafuente, and the vocals will be by the content director of the newspaper El Potosí, Juan José Toro. The new ANP board of directors will perform functions in the 2023-2024 administration.
