The military exhibition "The Great Force of Mexico" is inaugurated in Sinaloa, on the esplanade of the Government Palace

Culiacán, Sinaloa, February 3, 2023.- Governor Rubén Rocha Moya together with military authorities, inaugurated the military exhibition “La Gran Fuerza de México”, where there will be samples for all Sinaloans about the vehicles in which the elements operate of the Army, National Guard and Air Force, the weapons functions and information related to the entire work team.

Governor Rocha explained that the exhibition aims to inform about the work carried out by the military elements towards young people, which he pointed out as the tasks of social proximity.

“What is being done here is to replicate an exhibition, what do the military want?, that school children, young people and adolescents come and learn what they use, what they do, what the military offers to society and they are in these tents, in these modules that have been set up so that they not only see, but also explain to them, education tasks, health tasks and in general the tasks that each corporation performs, particularly we could say tasks of social proximity”, he expressed.

For his part, the commander of the Ninth Military Zone, Alfredo Salgado Vargas, mentioned that this exhibition is made up of more than 200 men and women who will be present in the 12 weapons and services modules, interactive areas, demonstration of dog training and exhibition of weapons that will be exhibited on the esplanade of the Government Palace.

“This great exhibition is made up of 12 weapons and service modules, interactive areas with an obstacle course and educational activities for children, a static display of vehicles and aircraft, and dog training demonstrations. A bookstore stand, as well as a bicentennial module of the heroic military school, all of them to strengthen ties between the civilian population, army, air force and national guard, presenting the various activities that are carried out in these institutions”, he mentioned.

At the end of the inauguration, the governor together with his companions took a tour through the 12 modules present in the exhibition, where they were explained the work and function of the different tools with which the elements of the Army fulfill their function.

Also present at the event were the president of the State DIF System Eneyda Rocha Ruiz, the commander of the III Military Region Francisco Jesús Leana Ojeda, the commander of the Military Air Base Number 10 José Miguel de Luna Genel, the commander of the 3/a Military Police Brigade and State Coordinator of the Cuauhtémoc National Guard Francisco Arellano Ávila, the head of the Delegation of the Attorney General of the Republic in Sinaloa Gonzalo Hernández Durazo, the secretary of the Culiacán City Council José Ernesto Peñuelas Castellanos on behalf of the municipal mayor Juan de Dios Gámez Mendívil, the president of the State Supreme Court of Justice Jesús Iván Chávez Rangel, the president of the Board of Directors of the State Congress Ricardo Madrid Pérez, the Attorney General of the State of Sinaloa Sara Bruna Quiñonez Estrada and the Secretary of Public Safety Cristobal Castañeda Camarillo.
