For its part, the Russian Ministry announced that “as a result of a complex negotiation process, 63 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation They were returned from kyiv-controlled territory of Ukraine.” Those released include “individuals of outstanding importance”.
The Ministry of Defense has thanked United Arab Emirates their mediation efforts to facilitate this exchange, according to a note collected by the Russian agency TASS.
